The Commodore VIC-20 was relesed in 1981, making it the oldest in my collection. It was gifted to me as a birthday present some years ago, and I have enjoyed using it ever since.
It comes with a 1MHz MOS Technology 6502 processor, 5kB of RAM (3.5 of which is available to the user in BASIC), a joystick port, a cartridge port, a 5-pin DIN video out jack, an IEC serial port, a cassette interface, and an "RS-232 Compatible" serial port. When I got it, I received a cassette drive, a multitude of cassettes, four cartridges, an RF modulator and switchbox, and an Atari joystick as well. Since then I've bought a composite video cable, two multicarts, and an SD2IEC reader.
The SD2IEC reader allows me to use an SD card in place of floppy disks. It's compatible with any Commodore computer with an IEC serial port (VIC-2, 64 and variants, 128 and variants, and 264 series) and I use a 512MB SD card I pulled out of an old camera to suit my needs.
Overall this is a super fun system to use and while I don't have it set up right now, I'd love to set it up again in the future.
