I was given this machine a while back and recently installed Fedora Linux on it. Given it's a Mac with the T2 chip, I was able to find a custom ISO of Fedora that allowed me to install it on the Mini without much issue. It makes a great system to hook up to a TV and run as a server for NFS and other similar purposes.
