This is the highest-spec PowerPC Mac I own and also the second-best 17" PowerBook that Apple ever produced. I just recently acquired it and it has proven to be one of my most valuable machines so far. It can browse the web and play video games with ease and is overall one of the best PPC machines I own for heavier tasks.
I received this machine with it fully upgraded already. It is maxed at 2GB of RAM and has a 1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 processor in it. The previous owner also put a 512GB SSD in it. In terms of software, it is running Mac OS 10.5.8 and has games on it. I also have the standard assortment of productivity apps as well as apps for media production and viewing.
I accidentally broke the ribbon connector off the main board while servicing it, so I made up a hacky mod to get the power button working but I do now need an external mouse and keyboard to use it.
