I bought this machine in early 2018. It was bought with money originally allocated towards a DVD burner for my Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio), but when I realized that I needed a new daily anyway I decided to start looking for this model.
It was listed as for parts or not working, when in all reality all I needed to do was install an operating system. It came with a 160GB spinner in it and 4GB of RAM. I immediately upgraded it to a 256GB SSD, followed shortly by a 512GB. I have yet to upgrade the RAM to the unofficial max of 6GB, but that is on my to-do list. The optical drive works but has a weak eject mechanism.
This was my daily driver until the summer of 2020, when I upgraded to my ThinkPad P53.
