My P53 is the newest Intel-based computer in my collection in terms of age. It was my daily driver for a while, replacing my Mid 2009 MacBook that came before it, before I got my M2 MacBook Air. Now it serves as my main workstation, and my MacBook Air is my daily driver.
Hardware-wise, it has an Intel Core i7-9750H with a base clock of 2.6GHz. I got this built-to-order, so I was able to get it with 32GB of RAM, dual 512GB SSDs in RAID1, a third 1TB HDD, and nVidia Quadro T2000 graphics.
It is quite a capable machine for running virtual machines when the need arises. In addition to the Windows 10 host installation, I also have a macOS VM and a Ubuntu MATE VM for when I need to use a different operating system. It is also what I use when I play video games and stream as a virtual streamer.
